THE TEAM
David is an award-winning screenwriter with a decades-long career in theatre as an actor (AEA), director (SSDC), and playwright. He’s worked off-Broadway and regionally, and was a founding member - along with Oscar-winning screenwriter Alan Ball - of the acclaimed NYC-based sketch comedy ensemble, Alarm Dog Rep. His plays have been produced at theatre festivals, regional theatres, and colleges throughout the Northeast and Florida. David's portfolio includes 4 feature length screenplays, pilots for 2 limited series medical dramas, and a pilot for a political thriller continuing series. David’s writing is characterized by sharp dialogue, complex and nuanced characters, thought-provoking themes, and often a satiric, dark, absurdist tone.

As an actor, Kevin Brief has been a fixture on television for over 35 years having appeared in everything from Baywatch to Big Bang Theory…Fresh Prince to Friends…Golden Girls to Grey’s Anatomy. As a producer, Kevin produced and starred in the Emmy nominated series, Acting Out. He was also the Executive Producer on BlindSight. BlindSight is a multimillion-dollar Warner Brothers project using cutting edge VR technology created by an international team of film artists and technicians. Kevin brings his decades of experience in film & television and his ability to bring talented and diverse artists together to the Eve of Dysfunction team.
